Just a short drive from the Farmhouse, this 17th-century masterpiece was built as a lavish retreat for entertainment and grand socialising—much like the Farmhouse itself. Explore the ornate "Little Castle," the spectacular riding house, and the panoramic views across the Vale of Scarsdale. It is a must-visit for any group wanting to dive into our local heritage.

The Five Pits Trail

Miles of Scenic Discovery Accessible very close to our doorstep, this peaceful trail offers miles of traffic-free walking, cycling, and horse riding through the Derbyshire countryside. Once the site of five local collieries, it has been transformed into a lush green corridor, perfect for a morning group walk or a quiet moment to reconnect with nature.

The Jewel of the Peak

Located just 30 minutes away, Chatsworth House is one of the UK’s grandest estates. Spend a day exploring the "Palace of the Peak," its world-famous gardens, and the luxury farm shop. Beyond Chatsworth, the gateway to the Peak District National Park offers endless opportunities for hiking, photography, and exploring the charming villages of Bakewell and Matlock.

"Had a lovely family reunion. Plenty of space for everyone. To all be able to eat together was great. Garden space was really lovely enjoyed a barbecue and games on Saturday.
